USAGE

USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER

Verify that no accessories are missing and that the appliance is not damaged. Pour

water into the water container up to the maximum level and move the water around

several times without adding ground coffee. Then discard the water. Thoroughly

clean all the detachable parts with hot water.

1.  Open the lid of the water tank and fill it with cold drinking water. The water level

must not exceed the maximum level indicated by the water level indicator.

2.  Place the filter holder in its receptacle and make sure it is assembled correctly. Then

place the paper filter inside the filter holder, making sure it is properly in place.

3.  Place ground coffee in the paper filter. A cup of coffee generally requires a

level spoonful of ground coffee, but the quantities can be changed according to

preference.

4.  Insert the stainless steel carafe flat on the heating plate.

5.  Plug the power cable into a mains socket. The screen will display "12:00" and the

colon in the middle will flash, but the LEDs will not light up.

6.  Press the on/off button and the indicator light

 (ON) will illuminate red. The

appliance will start.

Note: This appliance has a function for adjusting the strength of your coffee. If you

would like your coffee to have a stronger taste, hold down the on/off button for 4

seconds to start making your coffee. The LED will flash constantly until the process

has finished.

7.  The preparation cycle can be interrupted by pressing the on/off button at any

time of the preparation. The

light (ON) will switch off. The appliance will

continue the preparation cycle when you press the on/off button again.

Note: You can remove the carafe and serve the coffee at any time. The flow of

coffee will stop automatically. However, this pause must not exceed 30 seconds.

8.  Remove the carafe to serve once the preparation is completed (approximately one

minute after the coffee stops flowing out).

Note: The quantity of coffee obtained is less than the amount of water poured in

the tank, because a portion of the water is absorbed by the ground coffee.

9.  Always switch off the coffee maker and unplug it when it is not in use.

Note: Be careful when pouring the coffee to avoid burning yourself, because the

coffee is very hot when it has just been prepared.

AUTOMATIC START FUNCTION

If you do not wish to start an immediate preparation cycle, for

example, the time shows 17:10 and you want the coffee maker

to start automatically at 20:15, first follow steps 1 to 5 of the

above section and then adjust the automatic start function as

follows:

1.  Press once on the Set Delayed Start  button

 and the

word

appears in the top right of the screen.

2.  Keep pressing the button for the hour and minutes to adjust

the current time (real time), specifically 17:10 (see Image 1).

Note:

the time system is 24-hour clock.

3.  Press again on the Set Delayed Start button

 and the word

appears in the top left of the screen.

4.  Adjust the delayed start time by pressing the Hour and Minute button several

times until 20:15 is obtained (see Image 2).

5.  Press the on/off button twice and the

LED will light up. The screen will

display the current time. You can display the automatic start-up time by pressing

 (set delayed start).

Note:

You can cancel auto mode by pressing the on/off button once to turn the

appliance off, or press the on/off button twice to start preparing your coffee

immediately. If you want to change the time for auto start, follow only steps 1 to

5 above.

At the scheduled time, the

 will turn off and the

 light will turn

green and the appliance will begin the preparation. The appliance will switch off

automatically after two hours if it is not manually turned off once preparation has

finished.
