IMPOPRTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This appliance is designed to be used for
domestic and similar purposes such as:
– kitchen areas reserved for staff in shops,
offices and other working environments;
– farms;
– use by customers of hotels, motels and other
environments of a residential nature;
– other bed and breakfast type
accommodation.
• This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• Different types of batteries or new and used
batteries must not be mixed.
• Batteries must be inserted following the
polarity.
• Used batteries must be removed from the
product.
• Batteries must be disposed of in a safe manner.
Dispose of them at collection points designed
for this purpose (contact your retailer for
more information) in order to protect the
environment.

batteries must not be exposed to
excessive heat such as sunlight, flames or other
similar heat sources.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of damage:
• For information on cleaning, please refer to
the chapter on “CLEANING”.
• Do not use the scale if it is damaged.
• Install, handle and move the scale with care.
• Do not let liquid penetrate the appliance.
• Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale that
might damage it.
• If the weight exceeds the maximum of 5kg
“Err” will appear on the display. You must
remove the object immediately otherwise the
scale may become damaged.
• When battery symbol appears in the bottom
left corner of the display, this means that there
is not enough battery power for the scale to
work. In case of low battery “LO” appears on
