start ringing.
•
roundrobin: Each available agent rings in turn
•
leastrecent: The extension of the agent that was
called the longest period ago rings
•
fewestcalls: The extension of the agent that has
taken the fewest calls from this queue rings
•
random: Rings agents randomly
•
rrmemory: Similar to the round robin strategy, with
memory, i.e., ringing resumes in the next ringing
iteration at the next extension in the list following the
last extension that rang in this call iteration.
Agent timeout
If an extension rings longer than the number of seconds
specified here, the extension is considered to have timed
out. Unlimited or high timeout values may still be limited by
the system ringtime setting or by individual extension
settings.
Retry
If this field is set to No Retry, once the current ringing
strategy has completed once with no call pick-up, the queue
fail-over destination is activated.
If this field is set to a number of seconds, the ringing
strategy will start a new iteration of ringing attempts after
waiting the specified number of seconds after the previous
unsuccessful iteration.
Wrap-up time
If configured with a non-zero delay, the system will not ring
an agent who has completed a call unless at least the
specified wrap-up time has transpired.
Call recording
If set to no, calls to agents are not recorded.
If a recoding format is specified, calls to agents are
recorded in the specified format and placed in
/var/spool/asterisk/monitor, unless the recording location
has been changed as described in 4.7
Event when called
When enabled, the following queue events are recorder in
the queue log file (/var/log/asterisk/queue_log):
•
AgentCalled: An agent was called on to take call
from the queue.
•
AgentDump: The agent disconnected the call while
listening to the pick-up announcement before being
connected through to the caller.
•
AgentConnected: An agent successfully pickued up
a call from the queue after listening to the pick-up
