Programming vehicle functions

10.  Programming vehicle functions

The decoder within the vehicle can be programmed using a DCC capable 
digital control unit via so-called configuration variables (called CVs in the 
following).

NOTICE

Property damage will result from wrong settings or erroneous pro-
gramming

Charging station and vehicle might no longer function properly or be 
destroyed.

Only programme if you have a working knowledge of programming.

 

X

Follow the directions given in the instruction manual of the digital 
control unit.

PREREQUISITE:

 a DCC capable digital control unit is available. The charging 

station has been connected to the digital control unit.

 

X

Connect the “digital control unit” ports of the charging station to the 
programming line port of the digital control unit.

 

X

Switch the vehicle off.

 

X

Connect the vehicle to the charging station.

 

X

Switch the vehicle on.

NOTE:

 For further information on the way of connecting a digital vehicle 

to the charging station, please refer to the instruction manual "Processor-
controlled charging unit".
