Guarantee
Valid in the Federal Republic of Germany.
We guarantee this appliance according to the following conditions:
1. The purchaser’s general place of residence or main office is in Germany
and the appliance was purchased from a retail dealer in Germany.
2. We will undertake to repair the appliance, if sent to us at no cost to you, free
of charge within 24 months (12 months if used commercially or for purposes
of self-employment), if it is faulty or defective as a result of material defects
or faulty workmanship.
All guarantee obligations assume proper handling of the appliance. The guaran-
tee period begins on the date of purchase.
3. Parts that are subject to normal wear (e.g. drive belts, batteries, brushes, filters)
are not covered by the guarantee.
4. The guarantee will be voided in the event of alterations or repairs by persons
not authorized by us. The same applies if third-party replacement parts or
accessories are installed.
5. The guarantee preferably consists in the repair or replacement of the defective
parts. Repairs at the place of installation can be requested only for appliances
that are permanently installed. The invoice or sales receipt of the retail dealer
with the purchase date is required for all guarantee claims.
6. If a repair fails and the damage or defect cannot be eliminated even after
rectification, the appliance will be replaced by an appliance of equal value.
If neither repair nor replacement is possible, the customer is entitled to return
the appliance and to receive a refund of the purchase price. In the case of
an exchange or a refund of the purchase price, allowance can be made for
the period of use.
7. Guarantee claims do not extend the guarantee period or constitute the
beginning of a new guarantee period. The guarantee period for installed
replacement parts ends with the guarantee period for the overall appliance.
8. The contractual or statutory provisions for the remedy of defects are not affected
by the terms of the guarantee.
