Place the front protective grille

with the clamping ring

exactly onto the top of the back protective grille

(screw connection pointing down) and slowly press down-
ward. Make sure that the grille snaps into place all the
way around. Screw the clamping ring
[2]
tight using the
screw bracket

. Place the cooling fan with the control
panel (motor head)
[8+14]
onto the telescopic tube
[12]
and secure with the knurled screw
[10]
.
Height adjustment: The height of the cooling fan can
be adjusted from approximately 120–140 cm. For
adjustment, loosen the cap nut [11]
, pull out or push
in the tube to the desired height and secure with the
locking ring.
Do not use force to swivel the motor head and do not
push in on the protective grille.
Blowing direction:
The cooling fan can be set manually
to the desired vertical area of use (blowing direction):
• Switch off the cooling fan.
• Loosen the knurled screw
[A]
by turning it counter-
clockwise.
• Move the motor element –
only from the back side
–
to the desired position.
• Secure the motor head by turning the knurled screw
[A]
clockwise.
ATTENTION!
Do not place the appliance directly next to any
heat sources and avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
Heat may cause damage to the cooling fan.
ATTENTION!
If the fan blade is blocked, switch off the cooling fan
immediately and disconnect it from the power supply.
Eliminate the blockage before operating the cooling
fan again.
