Switching on the heating elements
•
Press the power switch situated on the outside of the appliance.
•
Rotate the M energy control clockwise to the machine connected position so that the light L1
(green) comes on.
•
Then, to turn the appliance on, turn the energy control clockwise to the required position. The
on/off cycles of the heating elements vary according to the position selected.
•
The light L2 (amber) lights up when the heating elements are operating.

Switching off the heating elements
•
Rotate the M energy control anticlockwise to the Off position, the light L1 (green) goes off.
5.3
Useful tips
Read the useful tips listed below carefully in order to get the most out of your barbecue.
5.3.1
Initial cleaning
After the appliance has been installed, clean the grill before use.
Use a damp cloth to clean the grill and then switch on the barbecue to dry it.
5.3.2
Maintenance
FAGOR INDUSTRIAL recommends a service of all the operating components of the
barbecue at least once a year to check their condition and the correct operation of the appliance.
This service must be carried out by an OFFICIAL AND/OR AUTHORISED TECHNICAL SERVICE.
The replacement of any functional component that may affect the safety of either the appliance or
the user should be performed by an OFFICIAL AND/OR AUTHORISED TECHNICAL SERVICE,
using the appropriate original spare parts.
Always clean the machine correctly to prolong the service life of the machine.
•
Remove any waste from the machine at the end of each day.
•
Do not use abrasive, corrosive or acid products, chlorine-based detergents, solvents or
petrol derivatives to clean the machine.
•
Do not use pressurised water to clean the machine.
•
Clean the grill, and the grease collection drawer every day to prevent the build-up of grease.
•
Cleaning the heating elements and the deflectors regularly. To do so:
o
Remove the grills (G-900).
o
Lift up the heating elements and clean the deflectors.
o
Remove the dust and dirt on the heating elements.
o
Replace the grills (G-900).
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, after-sales service or
authorised technical personnel in order to prevent risks.
5.3.3
Prolonged periods of no use
If the machine is kept out of service for a long period of time (holidays,
temporary closure,
…), please observe the following:
•
Clean the machine and the adjacent areas thoroughly.
•
Clean the grills and lubricate them with a thin layer of edible oil.
•
Clean the heating elements.
•
Spray a thin layer of edible oil over the stainless steel surfaces, including the grease
collection drawers.
•
Switch off the mains power supply.

FAULTS, ALARMS AND BREAKDOWNS
The steps to be followed in the event of a fault or operating error are described below. The possible causes
and possible solutions are listed in the following table. In the event of doubt, or if you are unable to resolve
the problem, please contact the technical service.
