Cleaning the exhaust filter
The exhaust filter could get dirty after a
time. Therefore, it is important to check it reg-
ularly and clean it if necessary.
If you see that the exhaust filter is dam-
aged, replace it immediately (
Z
Chapter 7.1,
“Ordering spare parts”
).
To clean the exhaust filter, proceed as fol-
lows:
1.
Switch the appliance off and pull the plug
out of the socket.
2.
Open the exhaust filter cover (Fig. 21).
3.
Remove the exhaust filter (Fig. 22).
4.
Rinse out the exhaust filter thoroughly with
running cold or hand-warm water.
5.
Let the exhaust filter dry for approx.
24 hours at room temperature after wet
cleaning. Only put it back in place when it
is completely dry.
6.
Put the exhaust filter back into the exhaust
filter cover (Fig. 22).
7.
Close the exhaust filter cover again
(Fig. 21). You will feel and hear it snap into
place.

Winding up the power cable
1.
Press down the front cable holder and ro-
tate through 180° so that it is positioned as
shown (Fig. 23).
2.
Then wind the power cord around the front
and back cable holders as shown
(Fig. 23).
ATTENTION:
The filter is washable, but it may not be
cleaned in dishwashers or washing
machines. Also, do not use detergents or
brushes with hard bristles to clean the filter.
Let the filter dry for approx 24 hours at room
temperature after washing it. Only put it
back in place when it is completely dry.
