RX (Receiver) 

 

 

Optical  audio  input 

– TOSLINK audio input. Connects to the Optical output of the local 

display device for the Audio return channel ARC feature.

 

 

HDMI output 

– Connect to the HDMI display HDMI input. 

 

HDMI output LED indicator -- Lit if the HDMI output is active.

 

 

L/R  output  port 

–  3.5mm  stereo  phone  jack,  extracts  the  audio  from  HDMI  output. 

Connected to an AV Receiver

 

 

Coaxial output port -- S/PDIF audio out, extracts the audio from HDMI output. Connected 

to an AV Receiver.

 

 

Ethernet port --- RJ45 connector. Connect to your smart TV to extend the 10/100 network 

through the HDBaseT Receiver Ethernet port. Note: TX must be connected to the router 

or Ethernet switch.

 

 

Power port 

– Use the included 24V/1A DC adapter to power the unit 

 

Power LED indicator 

– Lit when the unit is powered on successfully. 

 

IR out port 

–3.5mm mono phone-jack, connect to IR receiver cable 

 

IR in port 

–3.5mm stereo phone-jack, connect to IR emitter cable 

 

Mode DIP Switch 

– To switch RS-232 serial port between pass-through and firmware 

upgrade mode, set as per below: 

 

00: RS232 pass through 

 

01: Valens firmware upgrade 

 

10: MCU firmware upgrade 

 

11: MCU firmware upgrade & Valens firmware upgrade 

 

RS232 port 

–DB9 female connector, connect to a DTE or DCE. 

 

HDBT input 

– RJ45 connector, connect to HDBT output port from the Transmitter. 

 

Normal/ Long Cable selection switch 

– Switch to left/right side to select Normal mode/ or 

Long Reach mode. When set to Long Cable mode, the selection switch on TX Transmitter 

should also be set to Long Cable Mode.
