2-1 Starting System

l Power on/off
Ø To press POWER key for 2 seconds to turn on the unit.
Ø
To press POWER key for 3 seconds to turn off the unit.
l
Backlight on/off
Ø To press POWER key for 1 second to turn on the
screen backlight.
Ø To press POWER key for 1 second again to close the
backlight.
l Satellite Page will be displayed and searching for
satellite signal when system just starts, as shown in left
figure.
l If the satellite signal is good, your position will be
resolved within 60 seconds and the screen will display
the message
“ Ready to NAV ” . Now the unit is ready to
provide navigation functions to you.
Functions of the GG-H16 are divided into pages.
Every page as shown in left figure will provide with
the messages or functions as follows:
l
Battery Indicator :
² Green: high capacity
² Yellow: middle capacity
² Red: low capacity
l GPS Fixed Indicator :
² G: Good GPS signal and position resolved
² ? : Acquiring GPS signal
² X: No Receiver Signal or Receiver Closed.
l Command button ( ): to execute page-specific
commands.
l Page button ( ): to quickly access other pages.
