2-3-2-6 Electric Compass

Select icon of the electric compass on Menu Page to
switch to Compass Page. This page provides the
magnetic north azimuth. Please make calibration while
using the electric compass at the first time according to
the following procedures:

Select the [Calibration] button to start calibrating.
Beware of keeping the unit horizontal while calibrating
Ø
Please rotate the unit counterclockwise while
calibrating so that the red pointer on the top of the
screen can keep in the same direction.
Ø
A message will be showed after calibration is
completed.
Ø
Use the [Save] button to store the result. Next time you
can use the [Load] button to load the result directly.
When the environment is changed, just like exchanging
batteries will result in default value invalid, please
re-calibrate according to the procedure above.
Ø
The green pointer in Compass Page is shown after
calibration or default value loaded. It means that the
electric compass is working properly now. The green
pointer indicates magnetic north.

When using electric compass, the unit should be kept
far away from magnetism stuffs and keep its level to
reduce error.
