Always check the flame effect with the door closed!
Close the door, let the fireplace burn on a wide and high flame
setting for 20 minutes and evaluate the flame effect.
Evaluate the flame effect based on:
•
Flame distribution
•
Colour of the flames
If one or both points are unacceptable, check the following:
•
The setup of the wood set and/or the amount of decorative
material on the burner.

Checking the burner pressure and primary
pressure
Check whether the burner pressure and primary pressure match
the data indicated in the user’s manual, chapter 8 technical data
The burner pressure is preset in the factory, please contact
customer service in case of incorrect values.
Measuring the primary pressure:
•
Close the shutoff valve.
•
Turn measuring nipple A (see Fig. 1.7) some turns open and
connect a measuring hose to the gas regulator.
•
Now open the shutoff valve.
In case of an excessive primary pressure, do not connect the unit
and contact your gas supplier.
Measuring the burner pressure:
Check the burner pressure only with proper primary pressure.
•
Turn the measuring nipple B (fig. 1.7) a few turns open and
connect a measuring hose to the gas regulator.
•
Start the fireplace and switch it to wide flames and full power.
•
The pressure must correspond to the value indicated in the
technical specifications of this manual.
>
PLEASE NOTE: After checking, close all pressure
measuring nipples and check these for gas leaks.
6 Instructions for client
•
Recommend that the unit should be checked annually by a
qualified specialist to ensure the safe use and to guarantee a
long service life. Give advice and instructions on care and
cleaning of the glass. Highlight the danger of burnt-in
fingerprints.
•
Instruct the customer about the operation of the unit and the
remote control and setting up the receiver.

7.1
Checking and cleaning
•
Check and clean if necessary after verification:

The combustion chamber
-
The glass
-
The ceramic logs for breakage.

Replace, if necessary:

7.1.1
Cleaning the glass
>
PLEASE NOTE: Prevent finger prints on the glass, these
cannot be removed after burning!
Most deposits can be removed with a dry cloth, stubborn
stains can be removed with a specialist stove glass
cleaner or a cleaner for ceramic cooker hobs.
Inner surface of the glass:
Put sufficient detergent on the glass and use a soft sponge to rub/
polish the surface until clean again.
After “polishing” the glass plate, use plenty of clean water to
remove any remaining detergent. For this you can use a sponge,
microfiber cloth, etc.
Finally, polish the glass plate with a clean, dry cloth, such as a tea
towel.
Outer surface of the glass plate:
Traces of the suction cups are easily removed with normal
household glass cleaner.

Removing the glass
1. Remove the decorative frames see chapter 4.5.
2. Place the suction cups on the glass.
3. Draw the sealing cord from the slot. (Fig. 3.1 1)
4. press/click the cover strips inwards and remove. (Fig. 3.1 2)
5. slowly move the glass upwards and then outwards and
downwards (Fig. 3.1 3)
For replacing the glass follow the steps in reverse order.
