11.6 Learning the opening and closing limit switch points (SET-UP) mod. N1D SENSO KIT
If the SET-UP has not been completed, the engine is actuated via dean man operation (pressed button)
Before completing the SET-UP, the automation could work in reverse mode (e.g. the shutter closes when the opening key is
pressed). Once the set-up is completed, the position between the opening or closing key and the correct movement will be achieved
automatically.

1) Press and hold the button that controls the opening
2) The shutter will open and search for the mechanical stop and will then start closing again after a
few seconds and will stop at the lower mechanical stop.
3) After the engine makes 2 short movements (one in one direction and one in another), release the
button.
4) Verify that the two limit switches are set correctly by performing an opening and closing move-
ment.
5) If the limit switches have not been set correctly, perform a reset (chapter 12) and repeat the auto-
matic set-up.
NOTE: If this procedure is performed, the automation is set to shutter 1 mode. For further details, refer
to the instructions that can be downloaded from the FAAC website.
