Action on infected
attachments
Specify whether infected attachments should be
disinfected or dropped.
Disinfect attachment
- Try to disinfect the
infected attachment. If the disinfection
succeeds, the recipient receives the disinfected
file instead of the original one. If the disinfection
fails, the infected attachment is dropped, and it
is not delivered to the recipient.
Drop attachment
- Do not disinfect or deliver
infected attachments. All infected attachments
are dropped.
By default, F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft
Exchange tries to disinfect infected attachments.
Quarantine infected
attachments
Specify whether infected attachments should be
placed in the Quarantine or not. For more

Send warning
message to mailbox
owner
Specify whether to send a message to the
mailbox owner when an infected attachment is
found. Click
