Certain types of conditions will justify the use of a leash while stand up paddle boarding. The
leash connects the rider to the board. A leash will be required when in waves and on flat water
in an open or closed bodies of water with no currents. The leash must be installed this way:
To deflate the board, open the valve cap to
access the valve. Press the rod and turn a
quarter turn to open the valve and keep it in the
open position. Due to the high pressure of the
air in the board, you must press hard to open
the valve and prepare for a noisy air outlet.
Let the board deflate, then roll it to store in its
bag. Remember to close the valve after rolling the
board to prevent sand or other external elements
from getting inside it.
If you have a Rocket Air Surf or Rocket Air SUP board, these boards are equipped with a Tuttle box that
allows the assembly with a hydrofoil. To connect the foil to the board, follow the instructions below.
Once the board is inflated, place it upside down and insert the tuttle head of the foil. Rotate the
board to the side to access the top of the box. Insert the screws into the circular holes (don’t forget
the washers) and tighten firmly. The tuttle head is longer in front than behind. It is therefore neces-
sary to use the shorter screw in front and the longer one behind. Hydrofoil flights cause very slight
vibrations that tend to loosen the screws. Check regularly that both screws are properly tightened.
Untie the string connected to your leash, then pass
it into the leash plug and tie it in a clove hitch, then
reconnect your leash to the string.
Do not use your SUP without a leash when the
conditions require one. Losing contact with your
board can be dangerous for yourself and to others
around you. Always use a leash in good condition
and make sure that it is at least as long as your
SUP. It is also necessary to adapt the diameter of
the leash to the size of the board. We recommend
8mm leash for inflatable boards as they have more
volume.

EMBASE US
Your inflatable F-ONE SUP is equipped with a re-
movable central fin, here’s how to install it. It is a fin
with a «US» base system. To install the fin, insert the
washer plate into the front half of the fin box. Then
slide the fin into the box by sliding the studs into the
rail. You can adjust the fin position, forward or back
inside the rail.
Once the correct position is selected, tilt the fin
forward until the hole in the fin and washer plate line
up, then insert the screw and tighten.
