series
Description
Value
Power/model number
6”: from 2,2 to 45 kW models 6F
8”: from 22 to 110 kW models 8F
10”: from 59 to 190 kW models 10F
Winding insulation
PVC or PE2 + PA
Range of voltages
110 V … 1000 V, 3~50/60 Hz
Voltage tolerance (on motor
terminals)
From -10 to +6% of U
N,
that is with normal voltage equal to: e.g. 400 V
400 V -10% = 360 V
400 V +6% = 424 V
Working speed
about 2900 rpm at 50 Hz
Start up variations
Direct start up, star/delta start up.
Max start ups/hour
See SUBMERSIBLE MOTORS catalogue
Protection class
IP 68 according to CEI EN 60034-5
Submersion depth
Max. 350 metres
Assembly position
• from vertical (shaft upwards only) to horizontal
For assembly in the horizontal position it is necessary that the unit
guarantees an axial motor load equivalent to a minimum 100 N
• 6" 37-45 kW, 8” 92-110 kW and 10” 150-170-190 kW cannot be used
horizontally.
Maximum axial thrust towards the
motor.
From 2,2 to 15 kW 18000 N (6”)
From 18,5 to 45 kW 25000 N (6”)
From 22 to 62 kW 45000 N (8”)
From 66 to 110 kW 60000 N (8”)
From 59 to 190 kW 60000 N (10”)
The motors are suitable for bidirectional rotation.
For greater axial thrusts please contact F.B.
Motor liquid
Water + polypropylene glycols at 25%
Weight
See SUBMERSIBLE MOTORS catalogue
Storage temperature
From -15°C to + 50°C
Motor cable
The cables supplied with the motor are suitable for drinking water
tested and inspected by the English authority WRAS in accordance
with BS 6920, approval no. 7513.
Flange coupling
6”, 8”: NEMA flange
10” (see SUBMERSIBLE MOTORS
catalogue)
Temperature control
Possible to add a PT100 temperature sensor before buying the motor.

The speed of the water is the speed as it flows along the motor casing during normal operation.
5 Commissioning the motor
5.1 Checking the submersible electropump prior to assembly
If there are visible leaks on the motor or if the submersible electropump is more than one year
old (e.g. if you are using it again or if it has been stored for a long time):
→
Check filling up of the motor prior to assembly.
→
Unlock the submersible electropump after long stocking before installing the pump
