Do not
press the On / Off Button of the controller when the power
wheelchair is moving. This will cause damage to the electromagnetic
brakes or cause damage to the joystick controller.
Do not
drive over deep, soft terrain (soft dirt, loose gravel, or deep
snow or long grass).
Do not
attempt to climb obstacles above 50mm (2") in height.
Do not
disassemble or fold the power wheelchair unless the
electromagnetic brakes are engaged and the joystick controller is
turned off.
Do not
operate the power wheelchair without soemone in the seat.
Do not
drive the power wheelchair in street traffic except on a
sidewalk.
Do not
change the driving direction or reverse the chair before the
chair fully stops.
Always
drive at a slow speed when going down gradients (move the
joystick towards the central position)
Always
use the seat belt.
Always
keep the feet on the footrest while driving.
Always
ensure the batteries are fully charged before setting out on a
long journey.
Always
charge the power wheelchair in a well ventilated area to prevent any
possible risk.
If the axle of the wheel becomes loose, replace with the same size and type.
The driver of a power wheelchair must follow all the rules and regulations
common to other pedestrians.
