This section details the installation of the FOXBOX Tx/Rx, including:

Installation Overview
Follow these steps to install and set up an Extron FOXBOX transmitter and receiver system
for operation:
1.
Turn off all of the equipment. Ensure that the video sources and the output display are
all turned off and disconnected from the power source.
2.
Mount the transmitter and one or more receivers (see “Mounting the Units”).
3.
Connect the cables and configure the receivers (see
on the next page).
4.
Plug in the power supplies, then turn on the display devices and the input devices.
Mounting the Units
Detailed mounting instructions can be found in
Mounting the Transmitter or Receiver
on page 41. Any of the 1-inch high, quarter-rack width units can be placed on a tabletop,
mounted on a rack shelf, mounted under or through a desk or other furniture, or mounted to
a projector bracket.
