Receiver Front Panel Indicators
All receivers have a power, link, and host indicator LED on the front panel (similar to the
transmitters) and also have four LEDs associated with the four USB hub ports. In addition,
the front panel of the USB Extender Rx AAP and Decora includes four female Type A USB
ports.

USB Hub connectors (AAP and Decora Rx only) — These female USB Type A
connectors are used for the built-in four port hub. The connections are USB 2.0
compatible, pro5 VDC at up to 500 mA to connected USB peripherals requiring
power.

Power LED — Lights to indicate the device is receiving power.

Link LED — Lights when the transmitter and receiver are successfully connected
together by the twisted pair cabling and both transmitter and receiver are powered.

Host Activity LED — Blinks when both the transmitter and receiver are powered, both
are connected by the twisted pair cable, and the receiver is communicating with the
host PC.

Hub Activity LEDs — A single LED for each port lights when the peripheral on the
associated USB port has been recognized by the host PC.
