• Always remove cord from power source by pulling on the plug. Do not pull

• Keep cord away from sharp edges, oil, and heat.
• Do not allow battery acid to come into contact with this product.
Personal Safety
• Keep soap and water on hand in case battery acid contacts skin, clothing or
eyes. Familiarize yourself with first aid procedures in case of contact with
skin or eyes.
• Do not wear metal items (rings, watches, bracelets, necklaces, etc.) when
working with a lead acid battery. The short circuit current of a lead acid
battery can weld metal and cause a severe burn.
• Wear protective clothing and eyewear.
• If battery acid comes into contact with eyes, flood with cold running water
for at least 10 minutes. Seek medical help immediately. If battery acid comes
into contact with skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.
• Do not smoke or use vehicle battery, engine or battery maintainer near
sparks or open flames.
• Do not use this product near flammable liquids or in the presence of explo-
sive gases.
• Do not drop metal tools onto battery. This may cause a spark or short circuit
that can result in an explosion.
• Do not charge or jump start a frozen battery.
