Position the Motor Assembly
1. Loosely attach a hose clamp to the top of the mounting bracket to help with positioning.
2. Insert the torque arm into the bracket.
3. Lift the bracket and torque arm until the motor assembly is in position.
4. For best performance and traction, the 10 o’clock position is recommended. If that will not work with the lift
configuration, use the 2 o’clock position. (See images below.)
Note: The drive wheel should meet the lift wheel at a 45° angle.
5. Remove the torque arm prior to bracket installation.

Attach the Mounting Bracket
Option 1 - Self Tapping Screws (Recommended):
1. Slide mounting bracket into position.
2. Use self tapping screw to secure the bottom of the mounting bracket.
3. Remove the hose clamp from the top of the mounting bracket.
4. Use a self tapping screw to secure the top of the mounting bracket.
Option 2 - Hose Clamps:
1. Slide mounting bracket into position.
2. Secure the top of the bracket with a hose clamp.
3. Secure the bottom of the bracket with a hose clamp.
