USING THE DEVICE
WITH LEVELLING AUTOMATICS
When the plumb line is not secured in the locked position, the device operates in the automatic
levelling mode (self-levelling), where if the laser device is not tilted away from the horizontal
plane by more than 3°, the projected laser beams, after settling down, will define the horizontal
plane and the vertical (fig. 3 and 4). When the position of the device is outside the self-levelling range, the
laser beams will flash intermittently and self-levelling will not be possible.

I. Description – purpose of use
The self-levelling cross-line laser
with green beam is
intended for determining and verifying vertical and horizontal
lines relative to the projected laser lines utilising the
automatic levelling function or also for projecting
laser lines with a required tilt angle without the need for levelling
(see below), whilst the device can be mounted to a tripod or the
supplied magnetic mounting stand used for mounting on a magnetic
surface. The device is stored in a protective nylon case (fig. 1 and fig. 2).
