INSTALLATION OF THE WATER SUPPLY
QUICK-COUPLER CONNECTOR AND/OR
THE WATER INLET FITTING
Slide the mechanical particle filter into the water
supply inlet fitting and screw on the water supply
quick-coupler connector or the water inlet fitting.
Use a flexible hose with reinforced walls with
a minimum length of 5 m and a minimum diameter
of 12.5 mm (1/2“) to reduce recoil.
It is also possible to use clean drinking water located
in an elevated water tank for supplying the high
pressure washer, so that the water is gravity fed,
whilst the water pressure should be at least 2 bar
and the minimum water supply flow rate must
correspond to the value shown in the technical
information table. For this reason, the supply hose
must be shorter, approximately 3 m in length.
•
ATTENTION
•
The high pressure washer must not be connected to
a source of drinking water without an installed check
valve conforming to norm EN 12729, see chapter VII.
Fundamentals of use and safety rules.
Ensure that the flow rate in the water supply hose
is not restricted, e.g. that the hose is not bent or
kinked over an edge.
The temperature of the water supplied to the high pre-
ssure washer must be in the range of + 5 to +40 °C.
Prior to connecting the water supply hose to the power
cord, fill it with water to purge all air and particles out
of it so that it does not run dry prior to drawing in water.
A
proper operation. Nevertheless, this power tool
must not be used by children and supervision
must be provided to ensure that they do not play
with this power tool. This power tool must not
be used by persons not trained in its operation.
•
Attach and remove parts of the high pressure
washer with the power cord disconnected from the
power socket and with the water supply shut off.
•
Prior to installation and before every use of the
power tool, check the power cord and the pre
-
ssure hose for damage. Check the insulation on
the power cord and the material of the pressure
hose for degradation. Do not use a power tool
that is damaged or that has a damaged pressure
hose or power cord and have it repaired at an
authorised service centre for the Extol® brand.
Likewise, degraded insulation on the power cord
or degraded material of the pressure hose is con
-
sidered to be damage.
•
Any type of adjustment, replacement of parts
and cleaning must be performed with the power
and water supply connections disconnected.
There is a danger of injury!

Insert the spray gun wands into the fitting on the
spray gun so that the lugs on the spray wand fit into
the cut outs in the spray gun fitting and then turn
the spray wand to lock it in place.
Make sure that both parts are firmly connected by
pulling the spray wand forwards.
To take off the spray wand, turn it in the opposite
direction and then pull it off the spray gun fitting.

2.
Push the pressure hose quick-coupler with the o-ring all
the way on to the pressurised water outlet and connect
the hose to the outlet by screwing on the coupler collar.
•
Check that the pressure hose is securely attached to the
outlet fitting.
•
Proceed in the reverse order to disconnect it.
