Press the on/off switch down. The
on/off switch and level indicator
light up and the water heats up.
When the water boils, the kettle
automatically turns off and the
light goes out.
•
To interrupt the boiling process
prematurely, press the on/off
switch upwards.
•
Wait a moment until the water
stops bubbling.
•
Remove the water container from
the base.
•
Pour out the water slowly through
the pouring opening.
The manufacturer recommends not to
reheat stagnant water. Pour it away or
use it cooled for watering flowers.
Dry run protection
To prevent damage to the kettle, the dry
run protection automatically switches on
when there is no liquid left in the kettle.
This function serves exclusively as a
safety device and is not intended to
increase operating comfort.
If the dry run protection has been
triggered:
•
Remove the mains plug from the
plug socket.
•
Allow the kettle to cool down.
Afterwards, you can use the kettle again
as usual.

The kettle becomes hot during operation
and hot water vapour escapes!
•
Always allow the kettle to cool
down completely before cleaning.
•
Keep yourself and other persons
away from escaping water vapour!
•
Close the cover before switching
on the kettle!
•
Never open the cover when
pouring hot water!
IMPORTANT
The kettle can be damaged by improper
cleaning.
•
Do not use aggressive cleaning
agents, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic
•
cleaning objects such as knives,
hard spatulas and the like.
•
These can damage the surfaces.
•
Never put the water tank or the
base in the dishwasher. Doing so
would destroy the kettle.
•
Never immerse the kettle in water
for cleaning and do not use a
steam cleaner for cleaning. The
kettle may otherwise be damaged.

Cleaning
•
Disconnect the mains plug before
cleaning.
•
Allow the kettle to cool down
completely.
•
To clean the outside of the
stainless steel water container,
use a stainless steel care product
available in specialised stores.
Observe the manufacturer's
instructions for use.
•
Open the cover of the water
container.
•
Remove the filter insert, which is
attached in front of the pouring
opening. To do this, grasp the
filter insert by the wide bar and
pull the filter insert upwards out of
the holder.
