Connecting an external Bluetooth device
1. Press [ ] (2). The LED indicator (1) will flash red/blue which indicates that the speaker is detectable for
pairing with other Bluetooth devices.
2. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired with the speaker.
3. When the speaker appears in your Bluetooth device, as
Diabase
, select it and connect it to your device.
4. Once connection has been established the LED indicator on the speaker will shine a steady blue.
5. Start playback on your device. Control playback as described in the
Buttons and functions section
.
• If you have connected a mobile phone to the speaker via Bluetooth and receive a call whilst you are listening
to music, the music will be switched off automatically. Once the call has ended, music playback will be
resumed (if your phone settings enable this).
• The speaker will automatically connect to the device it was connected to last (provided that the speaker is
on and that Bluetooth mode is activated on the device).
• If you want to connect to another Bluetooth device, first turn off Bluetooth mode on the current device,
activate Bluetooth in the other device and follow steps 1–5 above.
Call management
If you receive a call whilst your phone is connected to the speaker via Bluetooth:
• Press [ ] once to answer the call.
• Press [ ] once to end the call.
• Use [ − ] or [ + ] to adjust the volume of the call.
Connecting an external device via the AUX-IN socket
1. Press [ ] (2).
2. Connect the included 3.5 mm audio cable to the socket (6) on the speaker and to your device (Bluetooth
turns off automatically).
3. Start playback on the external device.
4. Adjust the volume level on the speaker or the external device.
You cannot change tracks using the buttons on the speaker once the external device is connected
through AUX IN.
