Bluetooth
The Bluetooth capabilities of this radio enable it to receive and play music from
external Bluetooth audio sources such as mobile phones.
1. Make sure that the Bluetooth feature on the external device is activated.
2. Place the external device close to the radio.
3. Press [ MODE ] repeatedly until “Switch to BT” appears on the display.
4. Connect the mobile phone’s Bluetooth function to “BT speakerN”. If you are
prompted for a password, enter
0000
.
5. Select and confirm the pairing on your phone, the radio wil emit a beep to confirm
the pairing and the flashing icon on the display will change to a .
6. Use the control buttons on the radio or the external device to start playback, etc.
Alarm
Setting the alarm
1. Press [ ALARM/SNOOZE ] once to enter the Alarm Menu and then turn
the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK

ll ] control and press it in to select either
Alarm 1
or
Alarm 2
.
2. Turn the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK

ll ] control
and select “Alarm Setting”. The display will
show “Alarm # Setting” and the hour digit of
the alarm time will flash.
3. Turn the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK

control to adjust the alarm time and set it by
pressing the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK

ll ]
control.
4. Once you have confirmed the minutes
setting, the radio will enter the wake-up
mode.
5. Turn the volume control to select a mode
and confirm by pressing the control in. First
set the DAB and FM presets (1–10), then
the Buzzer Tone (1 or 2) and finally the alarm
volume level.
6. Repeat the steps above to set the other
alarm.
