Care and maintenance
•
Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket and remove the batteries from the remote
control if the speaker is not to be used for a long time.
•
Clean the speakers using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Troubleshooting chart
The speaker will
not switch on.
•
Check that the mains lead is connected properly to both
the wall socket and the speaker.
•
Check that the wall socket is live.
Poor sound or no
sound during Blue-
tooth playback.
•
Check the volume on both the device and the speaker.
•
Make sure that the Bluetooth connection is functioning properly.
•
Test the music playback from your device before
connecting it to the speaker to ensure that it is working.
•
Try playback using another file. The file you are attempting
to play may be corrupt.
•
Make sure that no other wireless equipment is interfering
with the Bluetooth connection.
•
Make sure that the Bluetooth device is within range of
the speaker (max 10 m).
Poor sound or no
sound during AUX-
IN playback from
an external device.
•
Make sure that the 3.5 mm audio cable is undamaged and
securely connected to the external device and the speaker.
•
Check the volume on the external device and the speaker.
•
Test the music playback from your external device before
connecting it to the speaker to ensure that it is working.
•
Try playback using another file. The file you are attempting
to play may be corrupt.
The remote control
is not working.
•
The remote’s battery may be flat. Replace the battery
if necessary.
•
Point the remote control directly at the speaker, making sure
that you are within range (max 3 m).
•
If either the speaker or the remote control is exposed to
strong sunlight the signals between them may be blocked.
The speaker freezes
or does not ope-
rate correctly.
•
Try disconnecting the device from the power supply
completely by unplugging the mains lead from the wall
socket. Then plug the mains lead back into the wall socket.
