5. The speaker gives an audible signal and the LED indicator shows a steady blue
once contact has been established.
6. Start playback on your device.
7. Adjust the volume on both the device and the speaker to achieve the desired level.
Once your external device has been connected to the speaker via Bluetooth for the first
time, the devices will automatically connect to each other next time they are switched on
and are within the specified range (10 m).
Connecting a further external device via Bluetooth
Once you have connected the first device:
1. Hold down [
] on the speaker for five seconds or [ PAIRING ] on the remote
control for two seconds until the LED indicator flashes rapidly blue.
2. Follow the same procedures as used when connecting the first device.
Receiving and making calls while playing music etc.

Playback is paused if there is an incoming call or if you make a call yourself.
•
Once the call is complete, playback resumes from the point at which it was paused.
Connecting an external device via NFC (Near Field Communication)
1. Switch on the speaker.
2. Press and hold [
] on either the speaker or remote control until the LED indicator
flashes rapidly blue.
3. Activate Bluetooth and NFC on the device you intend to connect to the speaker.
4. Place the part of your device where the NFC antenna is situated (refer to your
device’s instruction manual if you are unsure) against the location of the NFC
connection (1) on the speaker. You will find information about connecting
the speaker on your device. Follow the instructions to connect it.
5. The speaker gives an audible signal and the LED indicator shows a steady blue
once your external device has been connected to the speaker.
Playback from an external device via the Line-in jack
1. Press [
] on the speaker until the LED indicator shows a steady green, or press
[ AUX ] on the remote control.
2. Connect the external device to the 3.5 mm Line-in jack (8) on the speaker’s back panel.
3. Lower the volume and begin playback on the external device.
4. Adjust the volume on both the device and the speaker to achieve the desired level.
Note:
The [

ll ], [

l ] and [ l

] controls on the remote control will not work to
control playback as long as your external device is connected to the Line-in jack.
Playback must be controlled from the external device.
