Instructions for use
Charging
When the indicator light flashes red and the speaker emits an audible signal, the
battery power is low and it needs to be charged.
1. Connect the included charging cable to the USB-C port and to a USB charger
or computer. A USB charger can be purchased separately and must be able to
deliver a current of at least 2.0 A.
2. The indicator light will shine red when charging is in progress. The indicator light
will stop shining when the battery is fully charged.

1. Long-press [ ] for 3 seconds. The speaker will emit an audible signal and the
indicator light will flash blue.
2. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired with the speaker.
3. Select
BOOM-X
when the device appears on the Bluetooth list. The speaker will
emit an audible signal and the indicator light will shine a steady blue once contact
has been established.
4. Start playback on your device.
5. Playback can be controlled from your device and the speaker according to the
instructions in the
Buttons and functions
section.
• If you have connected a mobile phone to the speaker via Bluetooth and receive a
call whilst you are listening to music, the music will be switched off automatically
and the call will be played through the speaker. Once the call has ended, music
playback will be resumed (if your phone settings enable this).
• The speaker will automatically connect to the device it was connected to last
(provided that the speaker is on and that Bluetooth mode is activated on your
device).
