Menu 7.1 - Fire alarm
Four operating
modes There are four different operating modes in the event of a fire. The selected oper-
ating mode must meet regulatory standards.
Go to Menu 7.1 and select mode Operating mode VEX308
Internal damper BP*)
1 (factory setting) Supply air and extract air stopped BP1 closed
2 Supply air 100% and extract air stopped BP1 open
3 Supply air stopped and extract air 100% BP1 closed
4 Supply and extract air 100% BP1 open
*) BP1 = Bypass damper 1
Activation of oper-
ating mode The selected operating mode under the function "Fire alarm" is activated if the
closed circuit in any of the two inputs EXact2: Fire and AUX In on EXact2 main
board are broken.
The inputs allow the connection of:
● Smoke detectors
● Fire thermostats (e.g. BT40, BT50 or BT70)
● BMS
● Fire control system
If an input is not used, a jumper must be used.
