• During work the machine can moved in all directions easily and with little force.
Work in long tracks up and down, not in short back-and-forth-going movements
• You can use the switch on the LEFT to add scrubbing water to the pad.
• The switch in the MIDDLE can be used to activate the suction motor so dirty scrubbing
water can be sucked up again.
• Always turn the machine OFF immediately when you quit working, else the
floor can be damaged. Take the plug out of the socket.
9.4 End of the job
• Turn off the machine.
• Put the handle in vertical position.
• Remove the plug from the socket.
• Remove the waste water tank and empty it.
• Use mains water to rinse the waste water tank; this will help to avoid odors.
• Put the clean tank back on the machine.
• Tilt the machine backwards until the handle reaches the ground.
• Clean the suction unit.
• Check the condition of the pad.
10. MAINTENANCE
PLEASE NOTE:
Regular checks and structural preventive maintenance reduces the likelihood of
malfunctions during operation.
10.1 Lubricants
A can of WD-40 is the only necessary lubricant for maintenance.
10.2 Maintenance schedule
10.2.1 Daily (before starting work)
• Check the cables for damage.
Repair damaged cables first before starting work!
• Check the pad for wear. A worn pad can reduce the working speed.
• After using chemical cleaning agents, clean the machine with a moist-damp cloth
in order to avoid that chemical agents corrode any stainless steel parts.
• Check for loose bolts/nuts.
