3 Adjusting the cartridge loader
To access the door, you must move the cartridge loader into the cartridge
loaded position.
1. Locate the cartridge unload hole on the left side of the tape drive, as
shown in Figure 4.
2. Insert the ballpoint Allen hex driver into the unload hole, guiding it
through a hole in the circuit card until it mates with a the gear in the
cartridge loader.
3. Lift the cartridge loader check bar (see Figure 4) and hold it out of the
way as you begin to turn the Allen driver clockwise.
4. Release the check bar, and continue to turn the Allen driver clockwise
until the cartridge loader stops in the cartridge loaded position.
5. Remove the Allen driver from the cartridge unload hole.
