Give priority to alkaline batteries (which last longer than saline batteries) and
use rechargeable batteries wherever possible
Dispose of used batteries and accumulators in the specific containers provided
by shops. In this way, metals will be re-used and will not contaminate the
environment as they contain heavy metals which are dangerous both for your
health and the environment (mainly cadmium and nickel
