Opening the housing
Warning!
Before opening the housing, ensure that the unit has been
switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
Procedure:

Unscrew the four screws on the cover of the electronics
module.
Warning!
The indicators and operator controls on the cover of the
electronics module are connected to the housing with wires.

Carefully remove the cover of the electronics module and
leave it hanging on the strain relief device.

Install the SFC fieldbus module retrofit set
Attention!
SFC firmware Version 01.03 or higher is required for the SFC
fieldbus module retrofit set.
Display software version
To display the software version, select:
MENU -> Diagnostics -> Software version
The first part shows the SFC Version (A) currently installed.

Please note
If the firmware version currently installed is 01.02 or lower the SFC
firmware needs to be updated.
The cable (Part No. W3T164902) required for performing the
firmware update SFC is available from us.
