When the
computer is
restored from
standby mode,
even if a
password has
been set in
Setup Utility,
[Enter
Password] still
does not
appear.
Incorrect setup
 Even if a password has already been
set in the [Security] menu of Setup
Utility, when the computer has been
restored from standby mode, [Enter
Password] still does not appear.
When standby mode is used, if
security function is to be used, please
use the following Windows
password:
 A Select [Start] - [Control Panel] -
[User Account], then select account
for password setup.
 B Select [Start] - [Control Panel] -
[Performance and Maintenance] -
[Power Supply Option] - [Advanced],
mark the check number on [When the
computer is restored from st dby
enter password] and
select [Confirm]

 When the external display does not

Check the cable connecting the
external display;
· Confirm whether the power
supply for display is switched on;

display device.
