Baud
Physical unit of stepping speed during signal transmission. It defines the number of
signal status sent each second. Only in two statuses, one baud is equal to 1bps
transmission rate.
Operating System
A general name describing all the functions in concerted operation with hardware, and
control and monitoring of user program execution, system resource assignment in user
program and operating mode. (e.g. Windows XP Professional).
Hyper-Threading
HT technology (multiple threads) allows multiple computing threads to run
simultaneously. Only when all the related system assemblies (e.g. processor,
operating system and application program) are supported, can HT be effective.
Legacy USB support
Not to use drivers to support USB devices on the USB port. (e.g. mouse, keyboard).
Legacy Boot Device
Traditional drive can be used as USB device.
Memory Card
Memory card of credit-card format, the storage to store user programs and parameters
(e.g. programmable module and CP).
Reset
Hardware reset: Using button/switch reset/reboot device.
