are the 10-position machine-pin socket
strips that hold the alphanumeric LED displays.
There are ten socket strips in the kit.
The socket strips press onto the pins of the
alphanumeric LED displays, with gentle pressure.
For reference, the socket strips should slide
very far
down onto the pins-- as far down as shown here:
Repeat for both strips of each LED display.
Slide one of the 10-position sockets onto the ten
pins on one side of an LED display. Make sure that
it seats
all the way down
, as shown previously.
