Realtek HD Audio Manager
The Z490 FTW uses a 7.1 Channel Realtek ALC1220 audio controller. This section will
cover installation of the controller (in Windows 10) and the basic configuration options
that are available in the software.
To begin, use the drivers on the included USB flash drive or download the current
Realtek drivers from
https://www.evga.com/support/download
. Once downloaded,
right-click to extract the file and run the correct driver for your operating system. Once
launched, select “Next” on the extraction window, “Next” on the installation window,
then select “Yes, I want to restart my computer now.” Click “Finish.”
