Next, install your M.2 device. Make sure
that you have fully inserted the M.2
device into the M.2 Key-M connector,
and make sure that there is room to
install a screw to secure the M.2 device.
Unlike Step 2 above, however, you will
not fasten the M.2 device with the pre-
attached screws. Instead, you will need to
leave them unsecured at this point. After
you have finished installing all M.2
devices, you will reinstall the Z590 FTW
WIFI heatsink cover, which will also
secure these M.2 devices.
Please carefully check your M.2 devices
for proper installation before moving on
to the next step. If the M.2 device is not
installed properly, the heatsink covers
cannot be fully fastened.
4. Final Step – Reinstall the Z590 FTW WIFI Heatsink Covers for M.2 Devices
Once all SSDs have been installed,
carefully reinstall the heatsinks over the
M.2 devices. If the larger heatsink is not
fully fastened, you may have difficulty
installing a PCIe device in the PE1 slot.
