PLAYLIST COMMANDS
GPI’s can be configured to invoke playlist scripts. The user can set up a media name to associate with
the open and close action. If you set the media name on a GPI configuration to a playlist script name,
then that playlist script will run when the associated GPI is triggered. GPI scripts take precedence. For
example, when the user opens a gpi n, it performs the following operation:
1. Is there a script called gpi-n-open? If so execute it.
2. If not, is there media associated with the GPI? If so, bring it in or out as configured. If that media
is in fact a playlist script, then bringing it IN indicates that it will be “run”.
