6.46. AUDIO UPMIX MIXER

As shown in Figure 6-51, there are eight individual Input Channel Mixers for the Upmix processing block in
the 7812UDXD series modules. These Channel mixers perform audio inversion, audio gain adjustment
and audio channel swapping for each of the 8 input audio channels. Using the X and Y inputs of each
Channel Mixer an additional level of mono-mixing is also available for each channel of output audio.

For the sake of brevity, only the

channel Proc L, R, C and LFE

control tab will be discussed in this

manual. Control radial button for Channels Ls, Rs Stereo L and Stereo Right are identical in their
operation. The controls for L channel will be described in detail, as the controls for R channel, C channel
and LFE Channel operate in an identical fashion.
