MAGNUM INTEGRATION
The installation and configuration of a MAGNUM server is beyond the scope of this manual. The
following steps assume that a functional MAGNUM server is licensed and operational. The MAGNUM
server should be available on the network at a known IP address.
Launch a web browser of your choice (Firefox is recommended) and enter the IP address of the
magnum server into the address bar followed by “
/magnum
”. For example:
http://172.21.1.200/magnum
This should open up the MAGNUM server web configuration tool. You must
Login
with a username
and password. The default user name is “
admin
” with password “
admin
”.
5.2.1 MAGNUM-TALLY License
In addition to the normal MAGNUM license, the optional MAGNUM-TALLY license is required to allow
MAGNUM to work with tally routers. Click the
ADMIN
button and select “License Management”. The
minimum required licensed modules to use Magnum with Tally Routers are:
Magnum-Router
Magnum-Tally
Magnum-Multiviewer

Server ID. It will be 10 groups of 4 characters separated by dashes:

Contact Evertz customer support to add licensed modules to the Magnum server. You will obtain a
license file (.etl) which can then be imported into the Magnum server.
