9.3 Core probe input control
During the execution of a temperature cycle a test is performed to verify the correct insertion of the
needle probe in the product.
The test is divided into two steps.
If it is not passed automatically, the cycle is executed in time.
9.4 Defrosting
The activation of the defrost cycles is automatic and/or manual (as detailed in the following
paragraphs).
►
Automatic defrost:
During the execution of the storage automatic defrost cycles are
performed if necessary which are repeated cyclically for the duration of the storage. These
defrost cycles are activated only if the temperature of the evaporator probe is lower than the
value of the parameter.
During the running of the defrost cycle, the DEFROST LED
will turn on and the display
DIS1 will show the label “DEF”. The cycle ends when the evaporator probe exceeds the value
of the parameter or the timeout expires.
During the running of a defrost cycle, the DEFROST LED
will turn on and the display
DIS1 will show the label “DEF”. The blast chilling/freezing cycle starts only after the conclusion
of the defrost cycle.
NOTE:
: If an evaporator probe alarm occurs, the defrost is performed, however, and the term
is given by the expiration of the timeout.
►
Manual Defrost:
the DEFROST button
allows you to activate a defrost cycle if there is no
blast chilling/freezing cycle in progress. The defrost cycle is activated only if the temperature of the
evaporator probe is lower than the parameter.
The DEFROST button
lights up and the display DIS1 shows the label “DEF”.
A manual defrost cycle is terminated by pressing the button, if the evaporator probe exceeds the
value of the parameter or through a time-out.
A manual defrost cycle can be run even if a blast chilling/freezing cycle is selected.
Pressing the START/STOP button
to start the selected blast chilling/freezing cycle blocks
any manual defrost.
