2.3 Timer Operation
The MP-7499 has two timers that can be set for up to 99 seconds. These timers will always display the
same time. Use
SET

to set the two different timers according the following example.
Example: Set TIMER 1 to 45 seconds
1. Time must be set to OUT by pressing
IN

. If timer is set to IN (timer is counting), TIMER 2 cannot
be set until TIMER 1 counts down to 0.

4. Repeat steps for TIMER 2 using the
SET

button.
To start the timer, press
IN
OUT
. To stop the timer, press
IN
OUT
again.
To reset a timer, press
RESET

RESET

. The respective timer will reset to original set time.
The MP-7499 counts down by default. To change the timer to count up, stop the timer and press
UP
DOWN
.
If a time other than the original time is needed, follow the following example.
Example: Timer is stopped at 23 seconds, but needs to be reset to 24 senconds.
1. Swith the TIME to OUT by pressing

when time is resumed.
If the game time remaining is less than the delay of game time, press
BLANK
and the TIMER LEDs on
the MP-7499 will turn off. NOTE: The timer on on the LCD screen of the console will continue to count
down.
