The vacuum pump runs too hot.

Ambient temperature is too high.
Remedy
: Check the ambient temperature and take care of extra cooling.

Insufficient cooling.
Remedy
: Remove dust and dirt from the pump.

Filters clogged.
Remedy
: replace filter cartridges.
