Activate manually Window open detection 

The „Window open detection“ is always active. Should 
there still be performed a manual „Window open detec-
tion“, proceed as follows: Hold the  

 

 button on the 

unit for about 2 seconds to activate the „Window open 
detection“. The function now remains active   as long 
as you have selected your setting in the FRITZ!Box menu. 
If this symbol is illuminated on the display, the „Window 
open detection“ is activated. If you want the function to 
end before the end of this time, press the 

MENU

 button on 

the device.

Manual temperature setting 

If, during operation, the target temperature is changed 
manually on the device by means of the setting wheel, 
this will remain until the next switching point, your set 
time profile is not changed.  

Setting Menu Comet DECT 

Press 

MENU

 to enter the setting menu. 

The various points can be selected with the setting 
wheel. With 

OK

 select a menu item, with the setting 

wheel the values can be changed. 

OK

 OK confirms an 

entry, press the button 

MENU

 again to exit the menu.

Frost protection function 

The frost protection function is activated automatically. 
If the temperature drops below 6 °C, Comet DECT opens 
the valve until the temperature again rises above 8 °C. 
Thus, freezing of the heater is prevented.

Calcification protection 

The calcification protection is automatically active. In 
order to prevent calcification of radiator valves, Comet 
DECT performs 1x weekly (on Friday morning) an anti-
calcification process.
