It is very important to take all measures to prevent accidents and injuries to make sure the enjoyment and fun of using a
trampoline is not lost. The best protection against accidents and injuries is respect for trampoline use and observation of
several safety rules.
3
Safety rules for the use of trampolines
1.
Number of users:
only one person is allowed to step
and jump on a trampoline at a time
. The jumping of
more persons simultaneously on the same equipment
is highly dangerous and should not be allowed.
2.
Never jump off the trampoline. Anyone who
underestimates the forces on the trampoline exposes
themself to significant dangers.
3.
Serious injuries are not only caused by falling from the
trampoline; uncontrolled landing on the head or neck
on the jumping bed can lead to life threatening injuries.
All exercises with a turn (somersault or landing on the
stomach etc.) are therefore strictly prohibited on this
trampoline.
4.
Don’t jump to long. Stop immediately if you have
dizziness or difficulty in breathing. Sensitive and
healthwise burdened users (e.g. spinal cord injury)
and pregnant woman should avoid jumping on the
trampoline.
5.
Jump on the trampoline only in the intended way. Do
not misuse the trampoline. Do not use the trampoline
to reach other facilities, objects or people. In the case
of several jump fields, do not jump from one field to
another.
6.
Familiarize yourself with the rebound of the trampoline.
First learn the basic jumps and how to stop the jump
by bending your knees before you try a greater level of
difficulty.
7.
Avoid jumping too high. First practice the lower jumps
until you are landing in the middle of the jumping bed.
Pay attention to the corners of the trampoline to control
your jump.
8.
Never carry objects while jumping. Take your jewellery
(rings, body piercings, watch, etc.) off before starting
exercise.
9.
Do not jump with shoes.
10.
Chewing gums and sweets during the jumping are
absolutely forbidden due to the high risk of suffocation.
11.
Do not use the trampoline if you are under the
influence of alcohol, drugs or drugs or are overtired and
experiencing drowsiness.
12.
Young children should jump only under supervision of a
qualified person.
13.
Jump area and danger zone around the trampoline
should be free of objects and people, which can
disrupt, hinder or impair the jumping.
14.
Caution must be exercised at colder times of the
year. However, there is no reason to stop using the
trampoline once snow has been removed from the
jumping bed.
15.
Long-lasting snow loads cause unnecessary strain
to the jumping springs. Snow must be regularly
and carefully removed or the jumping bed removed
during the winter months. There is also the option of
purchasing a wooden cover that can be walked on,
which protects the jumping bed from the in uences of
weather and prevents use of the apparatus.
16.
Strong gusts of wind have a negative effect on use of
the trampoline.
