B - Right diopter adjustment
C - Socket cover for mounting the tripod adapter
D - Zoom lever 8x -24x
IPD adaptation
Adjust the IPD (inner pupil distance) by grasping the body of your binoculars and bending gently until
you can see a visual circle.
Focusing
1.Close the right eye and focus with the left eye on a fixed object by rotating the central focusing
wheel (A) until the image is in focus.
2. Open the right eye and pinch the left eye together. Now rotate the right eyepiece (B) to focus on
the same object until it is in focus again.
3. The binoculars are now balanced for your eyes and all you have to do is focus on different objects
with the central focusing wheel. To enlarge the field of view, fold up the soft rubber eyecups for
eyeglass wearers and for non eyeglass wearers.
Using the Zoom lever-D:
First focus the instrument as described above and turn the zoom lever (D) to bring the image closer
and further by changing the magnification.
Tripod socket-C:
The binoculars can be mounted on a tripod using a tripod adapter. Remove the tripod socket cover
(C) to expose the fitting screw.
Care of your instrument:
Keep the binoculars in the supplied bag when not in use. Use only the supplied cleaning cloth or
eyeglass cloth to remove dust from the lenses. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit. This may void
your warranty.
