If it is not received, the icon will be fixed on the screen. In this case, activate manual signal
search manually. See below:
Manual signal research
To activate the search for the radio signal manually, press and hold the DOWN 2 seconds until
the icon or appears and starts flashing. The searching procedure lasts about 3 to 15
minutes.
You can repeat this procedure several times if the alarm clock hasn’t set itself to the correct
time.
Note: To stop signal manual search, press DOWN, the icon fixed.
If the clock has failed to receive the signal after a few tries, you can use one of the two options
below:
1. leave the alarm clock near a window all night, when the signal is the strongest,
2. set the time manually (See procedure in section 2: “Setting of functions”).
NOTE: The search for radio signal is automatically carried out every day at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00,
4:00 and 5:00 AM. If signal reception fails again at 5:00 AM, the alarm clock will retry at 6:00 AM,
then, in case of a new failure, at 7:00 AM. If at the end of this last test, the signal reception is
unsuccessful, you can manually activate the manual signal search.
The signal cannot be received for the following reasons:
▪
near high buildings;
▪
near a built-up area;
▪
in an area outside the radio signal coverage area;
▪
near electronic or electrical equipment such as TV, wireless radio, mobile phones and
computer which may cause undesirable signal interferences;
▪
near sources of magnetism or electro-magnetism;
▪
near heat sources;
▪
in conditions of bad weather.
2. Setting of
functions
Once the alarm clock sets itself, it is in the normal time display mode.
In

to toggle between different setting functions:
NOTES:
1. When setting, if no button is pressed for about 30 seconds, the value will stop
flashing and the device will exit setting mode.
2. When the clock radio is automatically searching the RCC signal
in booting
which
might take 3 to 15 minutes, manual setting-up is not possible.
