Insert knife blade fully into the slot at a 90°angle to the sharpener. Apply light downward pressure on the blade while pulling the knife
through the sharpening slot from heel to tip. Avoid rubbing the face of the blade against the walls of the slot when sharpening. Always pull
the knife from heal to tip, never push the knife away from you.
Repeat this action, normally 5-7 pulls will get the blade sharp, but knives made of extremely hard steel may require additional pulls.
For ceramic knives this step is sufficient.
Slot 2 Carbide Blades (Sharpening)
Sharpen the blade and restore its shape to a V- cut.

Never use on a ceramic blade! This could irreversibly damage or break it!
Slot 3 Ceramic Rods (Polishing)
Remove burrs and polish the blade so that it is as sharp as razor.
The polishing process is the same as that of the sharpening, ie several successive passes in the slot 3 of the sharpener are necessary.
Never use on a ceramic blade! This could irreversibly damage or break it
!
The sharpener has three slots, pull the knife through each slot one by one, from slot 1 to slot 3. Do not sharpen alternately in the three
slots.
Sharpening for Scissors:
Put the scissors into scissors position, move the scissors blade from the end to near the handle, repeat the movement as many times as
necessary just in that direction.
After finish sharpening, push back the sharpening head to retract the knife sharpener.
